MY ''BUSY" CHRISTMAS BREAK:)

Merry Christmas to all! This year's Christmas made me realize that I'm really a busy person that I almost forgot to write how I spend my Christmas in this blog.:)

I could say that my week is a "tiring" week. My boss, Mrs. Roselyn V. Tagupa, in INSHALA offered me a part time job. And because her family had also offered financial assistance to my father, when he was still in Cebu Doctor's Hospital. In return for their kindness and concern to my father. I took the job even if this meant I'm not going to spent my break freely, which is sleeping, eating, watching movies, and surfing the internet. :) But despite of not doing what I want most, I'm very blessed and thankful for the opportunity that Ma'am Rose had given me. Arigato gozaimasu!:)

I spent my week in the office from December 22 to December 27. Wow! I did not expect I made such a week, with my eyes on the computer--working on different vouchers and encoding them all.:))

Advance Happy New Year! Mabuhay Philippines! Maayong Iligan! God bless everyone. Have a bountiful New year to all of us.:))

And oh! I almost forgot to share the brochure Jezreel Orbe and I had made for INSHALA MARKETING and INSHALA SHUTTERS AND IRON WORKS. Credit to google for some pictures.

Peaceful

Hi there again(blog)!:))

I want to share my first 3 days at home, feeling at peace and relieved from all the quizzes, assignments and a very tight schedule, and having a great conversation with mama and papa. :-) Spend time with the most important people – and that’s your family. They always made me feel comfortable. That's why I always see to it to take the time to see and share moments with them.

December 17- My mama's birthday.(pee burthdeii.:)) hehe. One of my closest friend had just told me that mama don't look 40 years old. wow! I can't help but to giggle. I'm always proud of mama. She did a wonderful job, being a loving mother and understanding wife. And gave us all her support to pursue our own dreams fulfilling her own through us. I love you mama!:)) P.S. Hope you can read this.

December 18-What should I say? I guess my routine for the day. I woke up at past 11 AM and ate my suppose to be "breakfast". I slept again at around 1 PM and woke up at 6 PM. And ate dinner(oops!I forgot to eat lunch.). I also watched news, together with papa, and conversing with him some issues and controversies.:)) And unfortunately, I slept 2 am in the following day. Maybe it's because of the excess of sleep.(I don't really know what to call it.) :))

December 19-(today) We went to the beach for the Christmas Party of my father's office work. I had fun, playing with kids and being the "ate". We also played track and field and listened to the rhythm of the sea breeze.(It sounds like a music.:))hehehe And lastly, we ate different classes of food.(yum!)

That's all for now. God bless my cutie pie blog. Good night.:))

Extension of deadline

Hi blog!

I can't think of any topic to write. Oh well, I would like to share that i just came from my best-friend's house to make a lantern for our "CWTS Parol Making". I'm awake since 2 AM and guess what time is it. It's almost 10 pm in my personal computer's clock. I don't feel like tired. (Thanks for the coffee..it's really a big help.) :-)

OK. Enough of the lantern thing. Time for me to talk about our English class for this week. Ma'am Lynnie divided us into groups and made us to write a composition without asking your group mates what should be the next sentence. It's really fun because our sentences lacked unity.(I'm not sure if it's because of the bear thing.hehe) We were made also to write as many words that has the specific word she mentioned. Before she went to Marawi City, she gave us an assignment about the different methods of paragraph development and I'm very thankful because she moved the deadline. For me, the extension of deadline is a big help so that we could find more authentic samples.

Good night and thank you blog. :)) Till next time.

Blogging in English

Blogging in English has a lot of advantages. One of these is learning grammar and vocabulary. I could learn new words and the meaning they got in English. With the blogging experience, we are learning to do something that we are going to need day by day. To make sentences that will enable us to communicate ideas to others. The main thing of blogging is writing, you could leave your blog empty without a sentence or a word, maybe you could put a picture in it, but it must contain a word, you must tell about the picture that you put in. But sometimes I'm confuse about my post, I don't know what should I wrote. I can’t think of a topic that can amuse the readers or should I say “my followers”. Oh well, the best thing that I learn is, start from simple, start from the things you know, you see, your experiences, and everything surround you.

Practice is an important factor. As I practiced, writing in English, I could do it faster and better. And I think blogging is my first step into my future career. Where, I will need to write reports or articles for my job. I think this experience helps me to improve my English. Thank you ma’am! :)) When I’m writing or speaking in English it allows me to improve my grammar and vocabulary when I’m expressing my ideas. And also, I can write faster than before in my high school days.

God bless to all of us. Happy Writing! Happy Blogging friends! :))

My English 2 Experience

The first meeting with our teacher was fun. I was really amazed by her POWERFUL voice. She talks about the grading system especially our term paper at the end of the semester and talk about this blog thing. I don’t know why she’s into this (BlogSpot), but one thing is sure. I’m also hooked with this thing.

I feel this semester would be a hectic one. The objective of the course was to make us better writers, and I certainly want to improve. I will have to learn what makes a paper good or bad, what makes it easier to write a good paper, and how the manner that the class is held makes a difference. We will do many writings, which is a good thing to do because English has never been my favourite subject. In fact, it has always been my least favorite subject. Going through school, I often wondered why I needed to do so many English related tasks. My days in secondary school were not "englishly" happy. However, I feel I should have taken my high school English class more seriously. It was a very difficult adjustment for me. I went through high school writing about what I now know to be not-so-good papers, but received good grades for them. Then, I thought they were good because of the grades I got. Now, I find myself working over twice as hard for half the grade.

This isn't a completely bad thing, though. It teaches me that my writing really wasn't very good. Now I have to take my writing more seriously, and try much harder at producing good output. Also, my goal isn't to write a paper that will get a good grade. Now, my goal is to write better papers to become a better writer.

What I Think And Feel Towards Writing In English

How long do we need in order to become a good writer?

I started writing since elementary. I had written on my diary almost every day and I felt it was fun because I was using my first language at that time. But after I got into my high school, there was no diary to write in a vernacular language only a writing assignment was given almost every grading and we call it "Theme Writing". How do I really feel about writing in English? Honestly speaking, when we had to learn everything about grammar in English, I started to hate writing. Writing in my first language does bring joy and writing in English made me feels incompetent. On the other hand, the reason why I don't like writing much is when some teachers give bad topics to students to write about. On my point of view, it's better if they give an interesting topic that can motivate students to write. To be honest, I still feel uncomfortable writing in English because I have much more to learn. Now that I'm in my second semester in IIT, I began to have less trouble expressing what I think and feel, thus the hatred toward writing diminished little by little. However, the English class (A3-2) was not as bad as I thought because the writing topic is not boring and I have also given the privilege to blog this. I hope, at the end of semester I will improve not only my writing skill but my confidence of writing as well. And to answer the question: How long do we need in order to become a good writer? For me, the only way to get better is to practice writing all the time using of course English. We need to put the time and effort in to be able to get anything out of it. Above all, don't give up on writing because this will lead you to the road of success.
